The full-service animal hospital offers wellness and physical exams, surgery, dental care, behavioral counseling, and boarding. Dr. Craig McLahan and his 20-member team follow a philosophy of pet and people-centered care, and everyone at the clinic takes that philosophy to heart. The more time staff can spend caring for patients, the better the experience. Bridgeport runs its business using Covetrus Pulse\*, a cloud-based practice management system (PMS) that the staff uses to schedule appointments, create invoices, take payments, generate sales reports, and send client emails.  In the summer of 2023, Allison Cawley, the Office Manager at Bridgeport, spoke with PayJunction to explore switching payment providers to lower credit card processing rates.
