Welcome to PJ University, where we teach you how to use PayJunction like a pro. Today’s lesson is how to log in.

Doing this is quick and easy. Just visit PayJunction.com and click “Login” in the top right corner of the page. This will bring you to our login page. If you have forgotten your password, just click “Forgot Password” and you will be asked to enter your login name and email. After you have done this, click the button that says “Send Reset Password Email.” In a few minutes, you will receive an email with instructions to create a new password.

Returning to the login page, enter your username and password, then click the “Sign In” button. This will load your account overview page, where you can process a new transaction in the main content area, view your recent transactions on the right column, and access the navigation menu in the left column.

When you’re done using PayJunction, hover over “Account” at the bottom of the navigation menu. When the tool-tip loads, click on “Log Out.”

An Overview of Virtual Terminal Features

Upon PayJunction login, you can access numerous Virtual Terminal features that will help you work more efficiently.

For starters, the Smart Terminal stores every transaction and receipt copy in the cloud. You’ll no longer need to file paper receipts or cart boxes to an offsite storage unit. With PayJunction, you can search for any transaction by customer name, date of purchase, transaction ID and more.

Customer accounts are stored on file automatically, making refunding and recharging customers, or setting up a recurring billing schedule, easy and paper-free. Conduct any of these actions with a simple click and stop inconveniencing your customers with a return trip to your business or faxed authorizations.

The Virtual Terminal also lets you collect remote signatures for card-not-present transactions. This protects businesses from chargebacks; without a signed receipt, you’ll lose a dispute by default.

To capture a remote signature, simply email the digital receipt to the customer and receive a notification once it’s signed. Digital receipts are an excellent form of chargeback protection and are legally recognized in the United States.

Enjoy Better Business Reporting

Because every transaction is stored in the cloud, PayJunction’s system automatically keeps track of your daily batches and deposits. This makes deposit reconciliation far easier, because it can be done on a daily rather than on a monthly basis. Our detailed deposit reports show any fees or chargebacks that occurred, so there’s no guesswork as to why your deposit doesn’t match your batch report. All batch reports are accessible for the lifetime of your account, so you can pull one at any time.

In addition to that benefit, the Virtual Terminal also keeps track of sales totals and generates beautiful reports to help you see how your business is performing month to date, quarterly, month over month and year over year. The Virtual Terminal lets you see a breakdown of your transactions by card brand and other information that previously required manual work in Excel.
